About Stine Vet and Bakersfield Spay Clinic

The mission of our hospital is to fulfill the needs of our patients by providing quality, yet affordable, pet care services through a responsive professional staff. We emphasize individual attention and commitment to our clients, and their pets! 

 In 1980, Dr. Paulson purchased the Bakersfield Spay Clinic from long-time owner Dr. Barney. Since that time he has converted this clinic into a full service veterinary hospital.

At Stine Vet, we take pride in offering the most complete range of veterinary care, as well as the highest degree of professionalism from our veterinarian and staff members:

Doctors
	Roger Paulson DVM Veterinarian Dr. Paulson received his veterinary degree in 1979 from Iowa State University. He has been practicing veterinary medicine and surgery for the past 32 years. Dr. Paulson has extensive clinical experience, and both elective (spay/neuter) and general surgical skills. He is a devoted husband and father of two exceptionally beautiful daughters. The Paulson's share their home with a variety of pets.
Office Staff
	Sarah Bell Frank Office Manager Phone: 661-398-7121 ext 203 Sarah Bell Frank has been assisting you and your pets since 1997. Sarah Bell enjoys everything outdoors, when she is not working she is a very active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. Sarah Bell has 2 amazing sons, and 2 beautiful daughters. Sarah Bell lost her love a big Great Dane "Norman" in late December 2011 and her 19 year old cat "Chris" in March 2012. She misses them very much. Sarah Bell has trained several dogs and loves to talk tricks with dog owners, She also would be happy to discuss any hospital policy with you.
	Janie Herrera Lead Receptionist Phone: 661-398-7121 ext201 Janie joined our team in late 2008. Her out-going personality and friendly disposition are valued here. Janie has four growing boys that are her world. She added a beautiful little girl to her brew in 2010. When not at home raising the youth of tomorrow she enjoys time with friends, reading, and jogging. Janie would love to discuss any voucher program or prescription food with you.
	Desiree Haught Receptionist Phone: 661-398-7121 ext 202 Desi is a very vibrant young woman, she joined our team in 2011 and has become a valued member of our family. Ask her about I-Tex or our spay & neuter programs.
	Ramon Rivera Staff Ramon is a new addition to our office he comes from Long Beach. He enjoys creative writing, attending church, and playing his guitar when he is not entertaining the 3 cats in his home. Ramon would love to help you make an appointment for your pets next check up.
Back Office Staff
	Melissa Pickin Head Technician Melissa's signed on in mid 2007 her experience is mainly large animal, she grew up on a dairy here in Bakersfield. She has had many horses and enjoys caring for sick animals. In 2011 Melissa got hitched! When not here loving your animals Melissa is spending quality family time with her new husband and their babies “Teddy” and "The Stig" both mini poodles. If you need more information on your pets procedure Melissa will be happy discuss it with you
	Stephanie Jones Technician Stephanie is a part time employee who has years of veterinary knowledge and experience. She came from Orange county and found a new home here at Stine Veterinary Hospital. Stephanie is very proficient and caring in her job duties. She will go over your pets after care very thoroughly and care for them like her own while in our hospital. At home she and her husband Robert enjoy playing cards with their family and friends.
	Bryson Mildon Technician Assistant Bryson has a fresh young attitude that is very refreshing. He has really grown and become a valuable part of our team. He is learning new things every day. Bryson adopted a new dog and she had puppies, he really loves that little dog. Bryson will be happy to explain discharge instructions and help you to your car with your pet and food.
	Armando Camacho Technician Armando has been at Stine Veterinary Hospital off and on while he attends school and furthers his education. Armando can discus nutrition and oral hygiene for your pet.
